„We deal with our mind from morning till evening, and it can be our best friend or our worst enemy“
The FIRST level of study
brings all the necessary knowledge and tools to have someone get an effective tool in the mind-watching exercises to combat stress and depression, begin experientially exploring the interconnection of body and mind, directly experience the world of their emotions, distinguish positive from negative states of mind and raise awareness the whole spectrum of mental phenomena which are pervading consciousness. Step by step, the inner space of the mind frees up, which allows a break between action and reaction – and thus gaining a whole new ability to cope with everyday situations that we usually respond too quickly and automatically.
At this stage of study, great attention is paid to developing the virtues of the mind – feelings of love, compassion, joy, and equanimity, as tools to re-establish a relationship of closeness with the world which we live in.
Emphasis is also placed on raising awareness of the communication process as a tool for applying the principles of mindfulness in everyday life: how to experience a whole new level of meeting other people through careful listening and careful talking, and more importantly, with yourself.
In short, the program is designed to be accessible to everyone and provide detailed explanations and specific tools, by using which persons can, step by step, completely change their attitude to themselves, their environment and the people in it. It consists of thematic workshops that are processed through six weekend workshops, starting with the first steps to the more complex forms of mind observation.
The SECOND level of study
explores How our world view determines the quality of our everyday lives – the way we interpret what happens to us, that is the same way we feel and relate to the world around us. In order to change the quality of this relationship, it is necessary to thoroughly rethink the in-depth beliefs that shape our attitudes – both about ourselves and the world in which we live.
It is imperative to embrace our own integrity and create new “software” tailored to the basic facts of life we encounter on a daily basis.
To support such change, a new level of meditation practices is being introduced along with a series of new paradigms, which facilitates the acceptance of repressed parts of our personality, the inevitability of change, and the abandonment of old behavioral patterns.
At this level of study, a three-day practice of meditation retreat is introduced for the first time, during which verbal, visual and tactile communication are completely suspended.
The THIRD level of study
is entirely devoted to the practical disclosure of in-depth mechanisms of perception that, most often without our knowledge, “pushes” us into certain behavioral models. To describe it metaphorically, every mind has a “hardware”, a kind of cognitive framework that, by its works, keeps us fixed in a certain way of perceiving the world, imposing on us the idea that such an experience is real, true, and the only possible. But in the backdrop of each of our frames / characters, there is its basis, a radiant and pure experience of a world free from the boundaries we are used to.
The third stage of study aims to create circumstances for experiential recognition of that original level of mind that is at the back of all our experiences. For this to become possible, one must enter into a whole new level of experience through the practice of meditation, recognizing the mechanisms that keep us stuck in existing frames. As they fall one after the other, they free up space for a direct experience of the present moment.
The FOURTH level of study
deals with the attainment of a constant level of mindfulness around the clock, which is why the practices in the waking state are intensified, both during the formal meditation and in the periods between practices. For the first time, the practices of “lucid dreaming” are introduced: consciously entering and exiting a dream, establishing a state of alertness during dreaming, and recognizing the elements of a dream during a waking state. The practitioner is given the opportunity to integrate all parts of his day into a harmonious unity, thus changing his daily experience in its root.
Corporative programs
Given the great interest in this type of training, Mihajlo also holds specialized workshops for company employees and institutions that seek to incorporate the principles of mindfulness into the their organizations.
Due to its beneficial effects, mindfulness has become popular in business circles, where today, for example, it is recognized in Silicon Valley in the US as a standard form of education for large companies’ employees.
Research shows that employees are much more able to cope with stress, crisis and complex tasks they encounter on a daily basis. The story does not end here: mindfulness teaches new ways of thinking and making decisions. The usual linear reasoning pattern is abandoned and new, panoramic models that takes situations as a whole, made of many related factors, is adopted.
The new leadership style, which, in working with employess, emphasizes creativity and play as key elements for achieving set goals, while respecting and emphasizing the specificity of each team member.
These programs are fully tailored to the individual requirements and corporate needs and are negotiated specifically.
